I was really impressed with this. The sides are solid wood with a kind of white wash paint (could still see some wood grain through the paint). There wasn't any finish on the paint so it could very easily be repainted to match your aesthetic. It was very easy to put together and take apart and i do it every time i travel. The scratching pad on the side and the bed on the inside are removeable and replaceable. The triangle is a lot bigger than i expected but i never look at dimensions before buying things. It could easily fit a 20lbs cat or a pug, frenchie, ect.

Kinda expensy but our big kitties love it so totally worth it! Very durable too and since it is not made out of cardboard there is no chance our cats will tear it apart. Double love ❤️

Folds and unfolds, comes fully assembled. I do wish there was a scratch pad on both sides though. My cat refuses to go in it because he thinks he'll get trapped (he's a rescue). So we won't go inside it or use the inside at all! I've hung some large bells tied together with a string over the top of it (straddling both sides). My cat likes to play with those and use the scratch pad.

What surprised me about this scratch pad is that there was no setup. It already comes assembled. Yay! The carpet piece is velcroed to the side of the board. It sounds like it would be enough to keep it on the wood. And it does for the most part. As our cats started scratching the side though the carpet lifted a little, like it’s trying to come off with their claws. You can see a minor lift on the corner of the carpet. This may not seem much but it did seem to bother the cats a little. They hesitated to go back to it when the carpet started hooking their claws. What I did was add a little double-sided tape to help keep the carpet stay down while they scratch. The tape comes off easily enough since the carpet pad can also come off with ease since it’s just velcroed in.
The little cave part of the post they love as you can see. 😁 Our big boy loves to hide in it and try to surprise people as they come by. It’s very comfy with a nice wool pad that comes with it and sits perfectly inside.
Don’t worry if your little one doesn’t use it immediately. I had to put some catnip on it before they went near it, which I’ve done for other posts. All in all a very nice little condo for your cats, especially if they love carpet.

Looks great, even in the living room this is an attractive piece of furniture!!! Both cats love it, especially my Fat Cat who hogs it most of the time!!! They both use it to stretch and scratch their nails on which is great that it is their go-to scratching post instead of my other furniture!!! Really Excellent Quality!!! Thank you!!!
