I got this for my cat so I could take him outside with me, he's always trying to escape out the front door so I thought it would be a good idea. Apparently he's more claustrophobic than adventurous and he didn't like it at all.
So long story short, very pet specific as to whether or not they'll like it.
Aside from that, this seems to be very well made, and has plenty of windows and ventilation for your pet to experience outside without them running off.

The space inside is okay for a large cat, but the bottom of the bag is flimsy. It will probably be okay to hold cats less than 12 lbs. but I have a heavier cat and will not risk it with this.

What is there bad to say about this backpack? Honestly it's really good and much better than I anticipated. It's sturdy, very breathable and has a lot of viewing points and could be covered from the top or front if desired. the mesh feels of great quality as well.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone but I put my puppy in this backpack and walk into shopping malls and grocery stores with my pet completely undetected! I'm very pleased with this backpack as it is light weight, roomy and very discreet. My puppy is a Poochon and has plenty of room inside and it helps her with her separation anxiety. Buy this, you won't regret it.

This is a great little pet carrier backpack for a small dog. The backpack feels strong and durable. It's stable and secure with my little 10lb dog inside. It even has a little mesh window where she can look out. With the top zipper it's easy to put my dog inside and tend to her while she's in it. She seems to enjoy it.

The build and construction of this backpack is good quality and sturdy. My gripe with it is that the covers while convenient don't have any method to hold/keep them open to let my cat see the outside. I don't really see the point in having this as a backpack my pet can't enjoy the view, its no different than any other carrier.

We have two puppies that are too small to leave with the others in the car when we pop into Lowe's. We put one in here and one in the sling and they love it. It is easy to put on after putting them in there and I like that I can store their leashes in the side pockets. Very happy!

I got this for my dog/cat sitter. This seems like a decent backpack, especially for the price. It's a great size and has a lot of windows. The windows are thicker (so less visible but sturdier) than the other backpacks I have gotten. The bottom piece is soft, but inside is just cheap cardboard and stuffing. But it's still nice you can remove it to wash it. It has a leash/collar clip attached. Overall this is a pretty good backpack.
