My Frenchie enjoys this house with its optional insulation liner. The pneumatic dampers to help its roof open and close without slamming are ill-conceived - they are not really adjustable, and mine were slightly sprung when installed. I had to purchase and fit a hook-and-screweye latch to ensure it remains shut when the roof is lowered. No biggy.
The construction is light. I think it will last just a year or two and require anchoring against high winds. But it is attractive and fairly elegant in appearance. But the dog LOVES it, which is worth an extra star.

Provides a pleasant place for my dog to get out of weather when outside for extended periods of time. I did tuck it in a corner to help it stay out of weather as best I could. I bought the liner and a heated pad to put in it too. Installed the plastic door flaps and it does help it stay pretty nice in there. When it's around 30 degrees out i can reach my hand in there and feel warmth. (Haven't tested it when it's colder.) I'm very happy with this purchase. I did have to lower one door flat at a time for my old dog to not be too scared to go in. I'd recommend the house and if you want to keep it warm - the liner and a heated pad.

My outside fur babies enjoy their nice warm home. We bought this house and the insulation liner along with the pet safe heating pad and my strays love it. Our temps have been around-23 and I couldn’t think leaving them without shelter.

This dog house is very cute, my dogs don’t really use it however. The assembly on it wasn’t terrible, but it definitely could have been easier. Overall very cute dog house! Very spacious!
