Product Testing

Product testing can be accomplished by a third-party laboratory, a government agency or our own laboratory. We are familar with the testing protocol and procedure of SGS, TUV, BV, Intertek. Unlike most manufacturers, Sunnypet owns a lab to conduct material/product testing with multiple machines to measure the properties or performance of products. Those testing projects done by our own lab include fabric strength, color fastness, luggage lift, hardware salt spray, etc. And we will have the devices calibrated on a regular basis to ensure their correct and precise performance.

Factory Audit

Our factory has been audited by SGS, Intertek, TUV, BV for many times. We have some certificates on hand, such as BSCI / WCA for social compliance audit, C-TPAT against terrorism, GSM for quality system. We are also able to work with timber regulation of FSC, EUTR to contribute to a sustainable forest management.

Quality Control Process

An inspection is an activity such as measuring, examining, testing or gauging one or more characteristics of a product and comparing the results with specified requirements in order to establish whether conformity is achieved for each characteristic. The quality inspector usually follows a pre-established checklist that is based on the product specifications. Inspected products can be the components used for production, semi-finished goods, or (most often) finished goods before shipment to a customer.

1) Prior Production Inspection (IQC)

“Garbage in, garbage out”: we will not allow defective inputs (components, or raw materials) into good products. And the problems are much harder to detect once the materials are embedded in the final product.

Thus, to decrease quality risks, the inputs will be inspected when they arrived at warehouse. The inspector will be measuring, examining, testing or gauging one or more characteristics of a product and comparing the results with specified requirements in order to establish whether conformity is achieved for each characteristic.

2) During production inspection

Typically, in an in-line inspection, the first products that got out of the line are inspected for conformity. If issues are raised at this stage, we can immediately take some corrective actions and avoid delays. There will be inspectors checking all the semi-finished products and request factory to rework if any defects are found.

3) Pre-assembled before Packing

At Sunnypet, all products will be 100% pre-assembled before they are packed into cartons. The process is an addtional workload and cost for the factory but we firmly believe it is worth it. Only in this way can we avoid major issues occured from the mass production then deliver a good-quality and complete set of products to customers.

4) Pre-Shipment Inspection

It takes place once all the products are finished and ready for shipment. The inspectors from company will randomly check the packed products according to the standard of AQL.The conformity of the products is checked against a list of criteria (product quantity, workmanship, function, safety, aspect, size, packing…).After the inspection is done, the inspector will issue an inspection report to related persons. The shipment can only be arranged when factory receives the shipping approval from company
