I read a lot of reviews on this and didn't have a problem with assembly. Some complained about removable floor gap but, the small space between the pieces is needed, otherwise you would have to take apart to remove. I found this an exceptional cathouse. only one thing I would have wanted is a clear flap over doorway for protection. Nothing that I already ratified on my own. I'd rate it higher but 5 is all you give.

Legs not quite built correctly.
Needs lots of caulking.
Screw holes were drilled out but nothing applied to the holes for weather protection.
Screw holes do not all line up correctly.
Frustrating that shipping is so much considering the work it still requires.
That being said:
Dig the orange and white.
It will fit a normal sized cat.
The strays love it once I put the heating pad and straw inside.
Would buy another if shipping was included or it was cheaper.
The materials are not all that expensive, they could easily sell it for 60 WITH shipping and that would compensate for all the work you have to do for this to stick up to weather for a reasonable amount of time…

It was cute, though the cat it was meant for wouldn’t go in it. But now the roof is caved in, and the sides are starting to disintegrate as well.

This out door cat house is a solid built and sturdy. It went together easily, it took about 30 minutes to put together. It has two doors the main entrance and a back door that the cats can only exit out of. The top of the house it made out of a heavy plastic and it lifts up for easy access for cleaning. The body of the house is made out of wood. It’s large enough for several cats to sleep at a time. We put a heated pad in it for added comfort. I like that it is off the ground lifted up by legs. For the quality it is priced right.

I bought this for my outdoor cat. He loved it, I did put an insulation around three sides of the walls & floor. Plus a wool blanket. Plenty of room for him to curl up. I might buy anyone for a feral cat that I’ve been noticing lately. For the price you can’t go wrong.

The finished product came out fine and our cat loves his new digs; however, this was time consuming to put together as the instruction sheet was useless! All it showed was a small picture of how the screws were to go in; but that was not helpful at all. We had to figure it out for ourselves through trial and error. Same with the bracket supporting the lid. Other than that, the sturdiness and weatherproofness was great! I don't know if I would buy another one from the same company, though.

Easy to put together, the only problem was the connection with the roof and I resolved it replacing the screws. I add a escape door with success so the wood panel are made well. Spotty ( my outsider cat) love it. Let’s see if this house is waterproof in the next few days. Overall is a very cute little cat house!
